Voltora Industries recently partnered with iShape Constructions on a premium residential project in Hendra, Brisbane, to deliver a full-scale electrical, lighting, and solar fitout. The home is rich in heritage character, and the aim was to preserve its timeless style while future-proofing it for modern electrical requirements.
Our Hendra electrician team were keen to take on the challenge in what has been an ongoing project since December 2023. Let’s look at what they have been doing in that time.
A Full-Scale Electrical Solution
This is a big project – a massive luxury home getting a full renovation, with Voltora engaged to oversee and execute the electrical fitout. There were three main components for our team to tackle – the electrical system itself, the property’s lighting, and a large-scale solar system to sustainably power the home.
One of the first key upgrades was to the main supply, which included the installation of a brand-new 8-metre property pole to support the home’s enhanced power needs. From there, we designed and installed a comprehensive electrical system that would cater to everyday living while accommodating the premium appliances and lighting that come with a home of this calibre.
Clean Energy: Hendra Solar System Installation
Sustainability was a major factor in the electrical fitout. The aim was to reduce the long-term power bills and carbon footprint of the property while maintaining its heritage charm. We needed to keep it simple – no flashy tech integrations, no smart home technology.
To align with these requirements, we focused on integrating renewable energy in a seamless and understated way. Our solution is a 15kW solar power system that includes:
-34 x 440W Trina Vertex solar panels
-A 63A three-phase smart meter
-A Sungrow 15kW three-phase solar inverter
This setup is a powerful energy production setup that would cater to the electricity needs to the property and reduce its reliance on the grid. Our expert electricians were able to keep the tech tucked out of sight too, helping the home maintain its traditional charm without sacrificing sustainability.

We were able to coordinate closely with them, align with their project vision and complete each stage of the electrical fitout with precision and minimal disruption.
